This trailer for the feature documentary Afghan Cycles reveals the risks women and girls in Afghanistan face simply by riding their bicycles. But there’s power in numbers and power in positivity, and bicycles have a history of advancing women’s liberation from patriarchial constraints, so one can’t help but feel hopeful.
